For centuries, horses have been a fascination of our world. As children, sometimes we assume horses are strong, powerful creatures, for riding and for show. And those assumptions are not entirely wrong. But there is one thing that is just as important as our childhood assumptions: Horses can teach us valuable life lessons, and can reveal more about ourselves than a mirror.

At Spirit Dogs Farm, our mission is to protect and promote the legacy of the rare Colonial Spanish Mustangs horses with a deep-rooted history dating back over 500 years to the Spanish Conquistadors. These majestic animals were once seen by Native Americans as “Spirit Dogs,” a name that still holds meaning today.

We strive to create meaningful connections between people and horses through ground-based experiences that focus on respect, communication, and partnership. Our programs include Equine Assisted Learning, Breed Education, Natural Horse Care, and Natural Horsemanship.

We welcome individuals of all ages, even those who have never been around horses before. Our horses are patient teachers, helping people discover inner strength, confidence, and cooperation.
